Accreditation

The Plaza Academy is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools as a “special function, special purpose” high school.  Our accreditation allows us to organize and deliver curricula that are individualized for each student as well for the student body as a whole.

The Plaza Academy is a Missouri Approved Private Agency for the care of adolescents. One hundred percent of a teenager's time here is considered by the Missouri Department of Education to be in fulfillment of state mandated Individual Educational Plans and under who's auspices we deliver mental health service.

We are also approved to receive funds from the Social Security Administration, and we are an International School (I-9) approved by the Immigration and Nationalization Service.
